I like to protect everyone, so meat shield is exactly my kind of playstyle… also they’re usually the last party member to die thanks to all the hp. Besides, if I’m going to be eaten I want it to take the dragon so long to chew me that he decides I’m just not worth it.
hehe my nick name is meat shield,,, an i tell the healz to worry bout my health IF someone else aggros the room,,, they tend not to then,, cuz they won’t be healed
She made the loaf to rise… or something. In any case it worked and that’s circumstantial evidence of Her mighty power, there are very profitable religions working on much less.
Lizardo: why do you say there’s no ceiling when there’s oh-so-obviously a beautiful ceiling we call the sky, the firmament, the heavens… it has millions of rotating lights engraved in it and two larger ones we call “Sun” and “Moon”, although this one is not a true light but a mirror made of cheese.
Tuul kind of reminds me of a character in a WW II story (Hauptmann Dorf???) who was a totally hapless nebbish, not intrinsically evil, but who had been enlisted in an evil cause. It will be interesting to see how he develops now. Actually, character development seems to be a persistent feature of these Delve stories.
Healer is what I usually main. A thankless task but the rush I gwt from hauling people back from the brink of death is like no other. Being the lynchpin that holds the party together. Also https://9gag.com/gag/aVP392w?ref=9g.wsa.mw
There are usually four roles in a party: controller (AoE nuker), defender (tank), leader (healer/buffer), striker (DPS) … most players I know prefer to play the controller or striker, that goes for my D&D group as well …
I just thought to check, but Sephni is still wearing the collar of infinite repair, or whatever it’s called. And what’s Bree carrying in her handbag? The dragon should be very careful about its next chomp.
Don’t see why we have to pick only one class: have a gnecro in EQ2 who can do all four roles, naturally she’s a DPS, butt she can also off-tank when needed, and backup to the secondary healer in a pinch plus crowd control
Personally don’t believe in ‘squishy’ mages, they may not be as resilient as a tin-can fighter butt they can still be strong. Every time the level up they work on their physical offense and defense abilities
And why are they restricted to loose fitting ‘get caught on everything’ cloth robes? What’s wrong with a leather vest, loose enough to breath butt strong enough to protect? If a monk can wear leather and still do all those moves, a mage should be able to as well
Alright… Miko, apologize to the dragon for threatening to cut up his innards for ingredients and saute his balls. Dragon, cough up the warrior babe. We can all be civil here, right? There’s no need for carving up dragons or digesting warrior babes today, right? XD
HOLY SNACK! … Literally it would seem.

Naturally a subterranean-dweller would be agoraphobic.
It must be traumatic, poor Lizardo…
I’m playing a Kobold Rogue that has a similar problem. More the “blinded by the light” issue that Pathfinder kobolds have.
He needs polarized sunglasses then. That or a blindfold, but he’s no monk, so I’d go with the sunglasses.
Is this a Slayers reference? =)
I bet Miko is hopint it is NOT a Defiler Wings one 😉
No other proof needed that Bree is a PC than this.
Wonder what else was in the Buick besides Bree’s / Jen’s clothes
Gas. Wonder if also any botthe could be handy.
Always DPS role. Why?
!) Who wants to be a meat shield? I mean really?
2) I don’t have the patience to heal other party members who try to kite aggros before the tank is ready.
3) If something goes south people always blame the tank or healer.
4) Always fun to stab the level boss in the back while they’re busy with the tank.
5) Always first to the loot box…
Aye, but a reflect damage spell is a real pain the arse. Hmm, never thought about #5 before, I’m usually making sure things are extra dead.
If they’re not extra dead, that’s the tank’s job. Nudge nudge wink wink.

Praying to a bakery goddess seems a little odd when facing a dragon.

Well, not exactly the parting of the Red Sea, but…
Looks like Bree still thinks this is a dream.
Until she gets her hand chopped off and she starts backstabbing people with a chainsaw.
Because she’s all out of gum.
Nope, not getting that at all, she’s just relishing fresh air after how long they spent underground

Heh heh 8)
yeah,, but changing the bulb must be a pain….
Here’s hoping that dragon’s digestive system isn’t too immediately lethal.
And not permanently stoneskinned.
The Lizardman’s survived? And not only that, he’s with them? Man…wonders never cease. What is the lizardman’s name?
Tuul, formerly #643 in line to be consumed by the Devourer

My loaf already rises!
…Oh wait you don’t mean that one!

I’ve played them all. Prefer DPS, but I’ve been known to tank and heal. I hope to never leave my healers feeling unappreciated.

Are they too late for snack time?

Well, whatever’s in the bag, we know it isn’t the camisole, Daisy Dukes, and leg-warmers. Sephni already called dibs on those 8)
This warrior babe ins’t very smart, but I hope that our girls will recue her.
Wormius is the best at jiggling breasts.
Thanks!
