I’d say, she actually died, but since there are two of them, only Jen has died, and Bree survived.
Actually i think sephini just forcefully repressed her other personality,which i assume is very painful when you are having your head reconstructed.
Holy crap, this is a “dreamworld” due to her car accident? It all make sense now.
I just realized that the key line is “yes, it hurts, every time”
Sephni is telling Bree that dying hurts every time you die – she knows it too well since she died so many times. Which implies that Bree actually died. “Died”?
Biggest question here is “Who resurrected her?” Princess? But how? Who give Sephni that power?

The shallow part of me is glad we’re starting to see the hopefully slow, but very certain, destruction of Bree’s current outfit. All the naked girls are fun, but it’s the process of them getting to naked that’s fun, so I’m hoping this is the start of a trend for that outfit.

The increasing mystery around what is really going on here increases. Increasingly. This had been going on before bree crashed her car through a cosmic hole after all.. so I dont think its as simple as carcrash dreamworld. That said. I remain glad that as far as anyone can tell for sure. Bree and jen are both still alive. Which is good
This went form messed up to crazy town. Bree is clearly a pawn to her friend now. But the game she is playing is still a mystery.
So, is the general consensus here that she’s… maybe in a coma after crashing her car? Dreaming this whole thing?
Or is it that she was killed in said crash and this is some sort of self-inflicted Hell?
I think “all of this is just a dream” is kinda THE worst possible ending or explanation, period.
I hate it when dreams are used as a copeout. If someone wants to tell a fantasy story tell a fantasy story. Not to mention using dreams as a reset button.
I actually think this is the most sane Sophi’s seemed since being freed. Though still a touch crazy, she does still seem to care for Bree. Maybe not as much for her other half, but given she just had a “fusion flash” like Beddigan, I think we have one Bree again. Not a Bree/Jen…
Oooh, the mystery. I can’t wait to see where this goes.
Though, I truly hope there’s some *game world/real world* mystical overlap kind of thing going on, and not an actual “Yeah, Jen is in a coma because car crash and this is her coma dream.” – because the coma dream has been done, and would be disappointing, while the worlds overlap thing gives us all kinds of mysterious unexplored fun and weirdness!

Well, this is starting to take a dark turn now.
Is this the first time we have had Bree’s full name mentioned?
Is the image on the broken watch meant to be significant?
I could be very wrong, but wonder whether there isn’t some thematic association between Teal and Sephni. There are certain parallels in their stories.
Every time I look at the panel with Bree’s face mashed into the log, I can’t help but think that could also depict Jen in a car accident with her face mashed into the steering wheel or dash. Seriously hope this isn’t an intentional visual meant to reflect Jen’s status in the ‘real world’. Would make me sad, and the cracked watch face carries a similar symbolism reinforces that as some sort of ‘leftover’ near a crash site.
Hopefully that isn’t the case, just some powerful imagery there.

Regarding the creepiness of this all: we have had scenes in the storyline that suggest Bree is just a PC for Jen in a dungeon created by Brian, and Sephni is an NPC, thus she really is just a mouthpiece for Brian. So, is Brian manipulating the dungeon to keep Jen around, somehow? Did Brian somehow get transposed into Sephni, somehow, similar to how Jen “became” Bree? Would the latter explain the “my only friend in this sweet, ripe world” line? Yeah, I’m hooked on the storyline (but don’t mind the costume malfunctions in the least). =-)
