Bree is growing.
Explains the purely tactical reasons Warmie should (in her profesional opinion) wait outside, and asks for it on a polite, profesional manner.
The old Bree would have taken the chance to slip a joke or two there.
After I’ve left my comment I’ve actually googled and apparently, “unit of blood” is a thing in the US medical practice. And it is roughly a pint. Because of course it is, why measure it in normal human units such as millilitres, after all?
It is a thing in medicine worldwide. And it uses normal human unis: is the volume of blood needed to increase hemoglobin levels by about 10 g/l (the “about” part of uncertainty comes from humans not being robots) whih happens to be approximately 450 mL. That it comes close to the volume of a good glass of Guinness is just a happy coincidence.
Actually all medical measures in the US are metric. Being a Ham Radio user, we use both measure interchangeably. Metric for wavelength and frequency and English when we have to buy supplies at the hardware store for antenna construction.
Quite different from her pre-Wrmheart red dragon humanoid self, much less scary, even rather cute – and chaste! As she should be, she’s still quite a ‘young’ dragon. Clothes are generally a rather unusual accessory in the Delve world, or at least for long. And, it must be catching, but Bree is also now being surprisingly polite and considerate in her request to Warmheart, no jokes even. Just a little concerning that apparently the only weaponry the three of them have between them are the two daggers Bree has, especially if/when they meet Imugi and her sword.
Really? You’re just be deliberately controversial again, Guesticules. So far Imugi only had one ‘friend’, Sephni. Everyone else she has decapitated. Bree has made lots of friends in her long journey, and only reacts against those who are themselves hostile to her, or her friends. There is a difference. Imugi is a ‘lost’ avatar, whereas Bree and Jen have tried to actually do good, not slaughter everyone. No comparison, and you know it.
Every one else Imugi has killed have been hostile (or did you forget the three who were going to kill Seph?)
If there were more than those three, please remind me
We don’t know what Imugi is, other than also from the Gray (Grey?)
Oh my a new and different appearance for Warmheart’s human avatar. Well, she is a growing girl. Plus, I’m assuming with dragon magic she can manifest pretty much as she wishes…or is she bound by some limitations. In any case it accounts for her attire.
Yes, emphasis on ‘growing’, her previous form was thousands of years old, Warmie is barely a year old (or however old she got aged up to)
And to me, she is looking down surprised by her form (or maybe just the prominent sacks on her chest she may need to ask Breen to help her with those )
And thus clothes were created ex nihilo. Quite unlikely for this comic…
I know right
Bree is growing.

Also shows she cares for Warmie
Also, someone get two units of Orc blood, Markho’s nose is gonna need them
What is even a unit of orcish blood? A pint?
A barrel. Orcs don’t drink in puny human little cups.

Is there such a thing as a ‘good glass of Guinness’?
Or is that just a joke Oirish like to play on the rest of the world?

Now I see where Half Dragon, Half Humanoid beings come from.
Whoever is being the father better make sure he satisfies the mother or become the meal.
inb4 “I said SLAY the dragon!”jokes
I was expecting Warmheart to just shrink down to their smaller size seen in earlier strips. This is way cooler.
Her smaller size was because of her age

Warmhearth can breath fire even in humanoid form. Thats surely counts as weapon
Clothes are only an unusual (and short-lived) thing for Breen
You are assuming Imugi is an enemy, and hostile
Enemy, we don’t know.
Hostile, she has shown to be her default status.
Perfect summing up, thank you.
You could say that that is Breen’s default status as well

Bree:
Enemy, it’s up to you
Horny, she has shown to be her default status

OK, how long this pants will survive? Two or three strips?
At least Warmie had the sense to remove the harness first
This is Andrew Hunter’ comic, not Stjepan Sejic’s
