Yes, it’s the name Bree gave the baby dragon. In other news, I finally got around to updating the “Characters” page. You can find the link at the top of the page, if you need to catch up on the important cast members.
It’s like I’m missing lots of pages in between: the one that resolves what happened with Bree and Jen and the crown (which had an emerald and not an amethyst stone BTW), the one that resolves what happened to Sephni and that Mugi new character, the page where they fall asleep, the page where they bury the corpses…
That’s just how these comic formats have to work, let you fill in some assumed off-panel details. If we had to look into every scene, things would just slow to a crawl. You can imply they went to sleep because we see them sleeping, etc.
Bree/Jen just seems so happy in the moment, love it.
If comics started showing everything, nothing would ever happen (the “Mansion of E’ webic spent about ten years, posting daily updates, on just one day…)
Doubt that that broken stone is Jen, way to easy to get lost, specially in a world without pockets!!!
Yeah, I agonize a lot over how much to show. Being a weekly comic, I tend to err on the side of moving the plot along at a reasonable pace. If it gets too confusing, y’all can let me know, and I can call in Mr. Prancy to sort out my mess.
You leave too many things unfinished: it may be a resource to let the readers guessing for future resolution but my complaint is serious: all resolutions are hinted but none is clarified, so it gets rather confusing. We’re left to fill in the blanks again and again, what is not how I think stories work, really.
Maybe it is possible to get some text-only elements? To explain at least some of things which are not intended to remain secret?
I like that there is much to guess about the world, plot, etc. here, but sometimes there is just too little foundation for guesses… 😉
I actually considered doing that, but I was afraid it would come across too Deadpooly, and I really don’t want to get started doing it on a regular basis.
I agree, it was way nice when her sword did that. In her case, maybe just the slightest tinge to the bubbles would be enough? And only when she’s discussing amongst herself?
I thing Bree/Jen merging is more on mental level, Like they are well aware of each other, in certain sense they ARE each others avatar in opposite world. Yet they are physically bound to world they belong to and no twin or self-talk really happen. But making their union conscious negates risk of serious split-personality disorder and “greater abomination” result.
I can imagine something similar happening on Jen’s world and Bree is aware of it, probably even has a consulting “voice”. But that’s just not part of the delve story.
Maybe Mr. Prancy could shed some light on it.
Wait… who is Warmheart? Crazy Bree?
I’m gonna guess the baby dragon.

thanks, will go now !
Breen isn’t crazy!
How long until the rest of the party notice the new twin-personality that talks to themselves?
Wakey wakey, there’s something crazy baking.
Heh heh
Combined Brew is giving off some confident Queen vibes… And in that outfit a barbarian queen style.

Plus I think the gem in her hand is the moonblade/mindripper, currently broken and need of fixin 🙂
Actually, I think it’s Jen. Rather than ceasing to be in their merger, Jen has become another gem. But, we will find out for sure later.
yep, good work, i first assumed it was the gem who was on the Crown before their merging..but i think you are right on that
Yeah, they went to sleep but what happened with Sephni?, who is Imugi?, which choice did the Bree-Jen twin souls choose? All is unclear.

… I don’t think the lack of pockets is feature of whole world.

Fair enough. I’ll try to explain things a little better in the future.
So, Bree reunited with her soul twin and got much more stable now.
Sephni found a new friend and a hope for sanity.
I have a feeling that this is not a coincidence. It feels like a core theme now.
Things are looking up! Kinda…
Can we call it a BreeJeneration?

I feel like there should be text color or bubble shape to differentiate which one is talking.
also goodbye hair fringe, you will be missed.

Hmn, I’ll consider it a bit.
Slightly grey to show it is Jen speaking
So what are we calling Bree/Jen now? Jee? Bren?
Or are we just gonna say that Bree’s in charge ‘cause her body and Jen is the trusty navigator?
I’m curious to see how you’ll write this, a dual character like this is very fun to toy with.
Is it intended that Bree’s current smile looks very much like Mala’s?? 😉 Or am I reading too much into it?
Well, now let’s hope she won’t get confused and end up fixing the things that need breaking nor breaking things that need fixing.

Is the jewel in the crown a D&D 20 sided dice a icosahedron?
Thanks for noticing!

Why does that thing in her hand look like a butt?
