Ashes of Defeat

The party finds a light in the forest.
Happy Thanksgiving for those of you who celebrate it!
I am very grateful for all of you folks who have helped me through a tough year. I hope the holidays treat you well, and better things lie ahead for all of us!
Did you develop some kinda magical ability during your time in Greyside, little Paige? If not, let Breen help them, she may even be able to save them rather than simply ‘end their misery’
Nothing to do with her visit to the copy of Jen’s Greyside apartment, Paige is the sister with the more magical expertise, remember, the one more likely to break magic spells. Bree made comments about her wizard friends.
When has she shown any magical ability? Just because she let that greybeard get handsy with her didn’t mean she herself had any magical ability
Examples episodes 397, 419, 436, 517, 525 and 526. Don’t belittle Paige. She has her own strengths and skills. It was she who got the crown to Bree. At the core of “Delve”, throughout the entire saga, above all of the D&D adventures, is the theme of women finding strength within themselves to overcome adversity. Most of the men characters are almost incidental. Paige has already proved to be a worthy, fascinating character. More worthy than being dismissively labelled as “little”, as if of no significance.
Wasn’t ‘belittling’ her, was just pointing out, Breen was able to fix the sword, and all Paige was able to do was play fetch with the crown (that she turned down claiming she wasn’t worthy)
If you truly weren’t belitting her, do you mind us calling you “little Guesticules” from now onward?
Great piece of art, and, as always, facial expressions, but a grim foreboding atmosphere, and example of evil vs. good. Alas, I think there is nothing Bree can do to save them. Paige uses the past tense, and probably can only use her spell-weaving ability to put them out of their misery.
My take on this is that their souls are trapped here. Very creepy…
Yes, you usually can’t support live physical body on top of flame …
You can, with magic
What a deep and thought-provoking art installation, inviting the viewer to reconsider custom views on the relationship between the numinous and the mundane…
