Teal draws up her plan for the battle ahead. I’m not sure the two DMs are completely on board with this.
This episode wraps up our little trip to the Grayside. Next week, we check in on Bree and Company as we begin a new chapter in our story, and we begin to learn a bit more about some new players in the game.
Thanks for sticking with us, and please stay safe out there!
I don’t see any flaws whatsoever. Sun Tzu himself would be proud of it! Now all that’s left is the actual execution of it…
Sun Tzu: hmmm…
Teal: the ideal war is the one where there is no need to fight, your words pretty much.
Sun Tzu: but I said nothing about hugs! I hate hugs!

That is so cute I couldn’t say no to her.
Few could!
…Something tells me this plan’s already begun.
Shoulda known Brian would be the cause of the end of the world.
I think this is a splendid plan. Clearly, the DMs haven’t experienced a Teal hug.

Teal, no! That’s a dry erase marker! You have to use a wet erase on those mats or it will never come out!

But there’s something nobody accounts for: Daxxoral is now probably Sephni.
And Bree’s quest is NOT to stab Sephni…
Also why would the DM help Bree? She rejected his deal… and he was already very generous in spite of that.
He’s the DM: he should be neutral, right?
I think the Dracomage’s goal is continuation of his own existence. His existence is linked to Brian’s, hence why he made such efforts to stop Brian from killing himself after Jen died.
He also needs the “game” to continue to perpetuate his own existence, hence why he encouraged Brian to roll the dice and continue moving the story forward in the other world.
If the devourer eats everything, that’s game over for everyone.
If Bree/Jen “wins”, there is always another campaign.
So if his character motivation is where I think it is, then he is directly incentivized to help Bree and keep Brian alive.
Fair enough. I see no flaws in your logic.
Hmm. Have we seen anything that looks like Teal’s depiction of the bad guy before? It looks a little like a Green Slime, but not totally.
Teal is a green slime
Er, yes she is, but her appearance is, most of the time, rather different from the majority of GSes. See episodes 48 through 51 and, of relevance here, the final panel of 49. Whether that means anything or not, I couldn’t say.
Are you suggesting she’s a master of deception and that she actually plans to eat The Devourer himself?
That’s not our Teal: they say she’s vegan, the horror!
Shame she didn’t move that pen just a little bit to the size.

huh i thought she was explaining how she got in blandworld, not upcoming battle plans
Heh heh, “Blandworld” seems like a pretty apt description!
