I think almost everything Bree told is true, except the part about Dracomage being banished forever (though Bree might think so), and Sark being instrumental to find Dracomage.
Nah, she didn’t say that Snark would be instrumental, just that if Red kills him, Breen ain’t saying nothing about where the DM ended up
As she said, orcs live fifty years tops, Snark is young, twenty-something tops, doubt even his dad would know anything about the egg-gobbling goblins that started all this shit
I mean if you have all the current plot pieces tied into one another, and you have a story planned out, it’s all good. I’m not a backseat artist/storyteller, I’m just here for the ride.
Iβll be honest, if youβre going to be messing with the concept of what is βrealβ, things are going to feel convoluted no matter what.
As long as youβre planning far enough ahead that you can eventually untie all the knots youβre making without an ex machina or disappointing cop-out, the plot will make sense in the long run.
Yes, that is something Rich Morris has done well with his webic: he has nearly all of the story plotted ahead of time, and if a character hasn’t been seen for awhile, he will switch back to when they were last seen and show what they were up and how it meshes with the rest of the story
It looks convoluted and confusing, and sometimes contradictory, butt that’s simply because we are only seeing parts of the story at a time, usually from one characters’ POV (who also may not know everything that is happening)
Personally, if something doesn’t make sense to me, will wait and see what happens next, will only comment on art and characters, not plot
I don’t have trouble keeping up with main characters but I often forget the names of side characters and what they did and why. For example, I can’t remember why Tashe was ordered to kill everyone in the cave, or who gave that order. But it’s quite usual for me, perhaps I’m following way too many webcomics) I find some of them way more convoluted than Delve (Flaky Pastry with immense cast or titanic lore Kill Six Billion Demons), so I won’t complain.
I change my mind at that point, Red is quite reasonable and have some code of morality, then she is not fild of sorrow fueled rage. The orc hunt and eat sentient being and rape women as a rutine, hence I do not think the Orc “deserve” Red, and Red derserve sombady better to be here mate, like Beddigan. Who also have lost his family and can understand here, and she can understand him, hence they can helpe each other.
As for elves being androgynous, well, while that’s usually the case, most female elves in Delve-verse so far have been pretty curvy and males seem to be a bit beefier than your standard run of the mill elf as well (Kestrel for instance)… Which is a shame really, because, if you ask me, slim beautiful females is the best thing elven races have to offer. Their main redeeming quality I suppose. #proudtobeadwarf π
Well yeah, most female elves in the Delve have been busty, the alternative to Carmen being the typical non-Delve elf is that ‘she’ is a cross-dressing dude π
And no, there is nothing wrong with that if that is the case
Just curious. See if Sephni smooches Sark and AngryDragonLady, would all their hurts be healed as well? (And co-incidentally Sephni gains two more followers)
Looks like Sark was a victim of the vestiges of the Satanic Panic of the 80’s
You win the prize!
Not sure what prize, but you won it!
If you’re serious, a Bree/Sephni pinup would be nice, but you can always pimp my comic π
You won an authentic ‘No-Prize’ (anyone remember getting those in the 80’s? or earlier?)
Never got one, but I definitely remember them. Excelsior!!!
Yep! Never got one, but I saw a ton of them. Excelsior!
I remember!
Sure thing! Send me a 200 pixel wide, 40-60 pixel tall banner, and I’ll add your comic to the “Friends of Delve” section.
Sent! Thank you, good sir!
Sent! Thank you again.
Well… This has a chance to go south quick…
But here’s hoping Red calms down…

Got her attention though! 8)
So.. what Bree is telling is somthing related from the previous old pages ? ( if that is I kinda forgot about it ).
Serious question: do y’all think the plot’s getting too convoluted here?
Welll. … idk .. sorry if it was noob or weird question
Not a noob question. I’m getting it a lot these days, and it’s starting to worry me. 8)
I’m just curious where this is all going π
I mean if you have all the current plot pieces tied into one another, and you have a story planned out, it’s all good. I’m not a backseat artist/storyteller, I’m just here for the ride.
I appreciate your work, no matter how convoluted!
I don’t think it’s too bad, but I will admit that the About page could do with an update.

Not convoluted to me. Lots of unexpected reveals, but that’s never a bad thing π
I’m just anxiously awaiting the big reveals about some of the larger plot points that have been circled around. Keep it up man!
So… if she DOES kill the orc she’ll also never find the Dracomage? Not much of a deterrent then, is it?
Except… it’s DM (no, not Danger Mouse) she wants
Now I’ve got the Danger Mouse theme stuck in my head.
Original or reboot? π
There’s a reboot? Is it worth looking into?
No, no it’s not, butt will let you make that decision
It’s on YouTube (or it was, not sure if it still is)
Don’t listen to them Red! Give in to your rage and hate. Kill zemβ¦β¦β¦.kill zem ALL!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA
DM? Zat you? o_O
8)
For some people, ‘starting over’ is the scariest prospect, even more so when you have no one or nothing to start over with
Wasn’t the idea she starts over with the orc and his half-goblin half-dragon children?
I change my mind at that point, Red is quite reasonable and have some code of morality, then she is not fild of sorrow fueled rage. I am on the turn them into Orc kebabs table. Now where did I put the bbq sauce?
Definitely.
‘Carmen’? Should we be knowing who ‘Carmen’ is? o_O
I never saw an instance of that name..? o_O
The invotive
Okay, probably shoulda asked that question on that page (butt how many people actually check the comments there?)
I must have missed that vote .. Google Chrome likes to take the vote gadget and chuck it out the Windows.
She’s a part of Yeena’s band. I do get a pretty “trappy” androgynous vibe from her though.

Thanks, Dreadder! Perhaps I’m getting a little obscure on my Vote Incentive character choices.
Thought that was probably it, butt don’t like making umptions out of peoples’ ass’
And she’s an elf, being androgynous kinda comes with the territory (well, usually… Legolas being prime example)
Glad to be of service. π

Hmm, attempting to get invotive #202 (missed that week π ) butt the archives only goes up to #188
Here you go!

Kind of reminds me of some of Heather Alexander’s cover art for some reason.
Thanks, Balthazar!
π
Much thanks π

To be completely honest, nobody knows an orc’s maximum lifespan, including most orcs.
I mean, you EVER hear of one dying of old age?
