He’s gonna wish he died from their looks halfway through after Breen gets her hands on him
Only question is: will she make it quick and painful or slow and more painful?
“Something Vimes had learned as a young guard drifted up from memory. If you have to look along the shaft of an arrow from the wrong end, if a man has you entirely at his mercy, then hope like hell that man is an evil man. Because the evil like power, power over people, and they want to see you in fear. They want you to know you’re going to die. So they’ll talk. They’ll gloat.
They’ll watch you squirm. They’ll put off the moment of murder like another man will put off a good cigar.
So hope like hell your captor is an evil man. A good man will kill you with hardly a word.”
― Terry Pratchett, Men at Arms
All she has to do is stick them in the trap she is in, sans loin cloth.
Quicker to do than trying to fight them unarmed and weaponless, and Cherek will take care of the punishment for her (if he makes it back from her wrath of course, if he doesn’t they will still have a couple of days to regret their many crimes against woodelvenkind)
Especially if Stumptown – the name night be a clue – is/was part of the Wood Elf Domain…. I think Cherek, and a few fellow Orcs, might be destined for some Bree salami slicing in the near future. Unless – possible plot twist alert! – Stonebreaker turns out to be another ‘Graysider’ avatar like Jen/Bree or Sark….Mr Hunter will keep us guessing.
Ha, ha, like your logic, even if it is rather height-ist, but Gint was definitely talking elves… I still tree-stump, Wood Elves who don’t live in the branches like Bree and Paige did.
We don’t know if that is the official name, or just something the orc called it
And what they will have their teeth in next week doesn’t have to be connected with the fun that had last time
But probably was an elf-town, was just giving an alternative until we learn more (and Cheek had better not be a ‘Graysider’ avatar, because, unlike Sark, there is no redeeming for him… )
Back, back ages ago Andy did an incentive art of “Graysider Dennis”, a young long-haired guy with his arm about a pretty girl, but I always – even then – had a sort of creepy feeling about him. Given how Andy depicted Jen on a number of pictures again way, way before she became a character in “Delve”, I still wonder if Dennis will ever fit into the story – is he Sark? Was Sark’s sister also a ‘graysider’ or just a Delve world character? Andy still has a lot of story cards up his sleeve, so to speak. But I do love his story telling, and especially how skilfully he has held the Delve saga together all this time with only a few artistic continuity hiccups.
Stumptown? These guys have been to Portland, Oregon?
You just fucked up Gint, and you don’t even know it…

If looks could kill, Gint would be dead twice over.

I don’t quite remember Bree torturing people. Some of her companions did, I’m sure, but as far as I can recall Bree always goes for the kill.
Perhaps that’s what separates freedom fighter Cherek thinks to be from a crazy maniac he actually is.

Good try, Bree. Almost…
But “almost” doesn’t count.
She seems more annoyed than him.
Good Ol’ Gint managed to stop the lacivious pervert from their degenerate acts.
Oh, and he stopped Buzzard, too.
I don’t know off-hand what happened in Stumptown, but that is likely another reason for Bree to kill her way out

Stump-town kinda implies short, so maybe a Halfling or dwarf town

A competent guard? This guy is either going to be important or die horribly for his prudence.
Gint? Gint is going to get Bree’d, painfully
