Heh heh, No snow shovel here, but, between a garden shovel, a hoe to scrape the icy patches, and a push broom to shove all the slushy bits off the concrete, I was able to clear the drive well enough.
We were living in the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas in, IIRC, 2004 when it snowed for the first time in 105 years. There was much cognitive dissonance in the Valley that Christmas.
That’s… Weird. Shouldn’t they fuse or something? Brian said that if one of the twin souls overcomes another, it will become an abomination or something, right?
Same here with the snow, my part of TX usually gets one day of snow a year and then it’s melted by afternoon the next day. Thought that was New Years but then we get this one that lingered over the weekend. Was nice and good timing for kids to play in it!
I’m just curious, does that mean the story is winding down? I only ask because it seems like this part in the story has been a very long time in coming.
The “Bree Queen” era, I guess, but so you’ll got the reference. It wasn’t the same for Conan, it won’t be the same for Bree. Unsure if it’s a good idea but you’re the Dracomage and I’m just a little gobling passing by.
Bree was gonna have to “Queen-up” sooner or later. It might have been smarter to string the tension out longer, from a “keep the comic going the way it always has been” standpoint, but I never liked stories that kept teasing a resolution that they were never going to provide, so, even if I’m making a mistake by powering her up, I think it would be a bigger mistake to try to throw in some wacky twist where everyone goes back to “normal”. Things will definitely change, however this plays out.
That’s the problem with princesses: they grow up and go all queenie. Sigh!
Adventuring is fun, ruling is boring.
I agree with reaching a resolution, a thousand times agreed. But I guess she could decline the crown and begin some other adventure… I’m sure there are many other elves who can do the boring paperwork instead, beginning with her sister.
Also, logically the elf queen should be the elf chick, the other one is just a human commoner, she gets all the nuisances of being both human and commoner. Tough luck!
Yeah… I’m real happy Bree has already pre-emptively started questioning Greenboot, because yeah, this is the first time I’ve really been irked by someone they’ve met. I hope that whatever comes from this, Jen and Bree can be happy.
Hehe. I got lucky. I live in Dallas. Was very interesting to watch the radar as the storm rolled through. There was quite literally a big blue (rain) splotch that was Dallas in the big midst of pink (snow) that was the rest of Texas. Since I work outside, I was happy not to have gotten snow. But the cold and wet was still miserable! I remember there being about 4 feet of snow when I was a kid (94 maybe?) out in West Texas around Easter. That’s the last big bout of snow I can remember. Glad it’s so infrequent!!!!
Good question but I don’t feel like digging into past strips (Archives has been broken for a long time now) in order to find the exact strip (if any) when she found out. In this case, I’ll go along with it.
Probably because of having Jen in her head the last couple months, she had some of her memories, now she gets to see the real person responsible for them
So does that mean you were using a garden shovel, a shovel that is used to dig holes, or do you actually have a snow shovel?

This fusion (cold, warm, or hot) may be what Greentitz hopes to prevent.

I think that this was the most snow I’ve ever seen in Texas. The kids definitely enjoyed it.

It’s definitely going to change profoundly in the near future. Where it goes from there, I’m not sure.
So are we entering the “Conan King” era for Bree?

So many typos!
“get” and not “got”, “goblin” and not “gobling”…
Meh!
*”Y’all” not “you’ll”…

Hopefully Thess and friends will become her most loyal Royal Guard 😀

But it’s your story, man. So whatever…
Nope, don’t see it winding down, as Wormius said (and they would know, being the author and all) things are just gonna be changing from here on out
“We”, who is “we”?
Also, logically the elf queen should be the elf chick, the other one is just a human commoner, she gets all the nuisances of being both human and commoner. Tough luck!
‘Logic’? What does ‘logic’ have to do with anything?
Have you seen what has been happening lately? o_O
I pride myself as a rather rational person, logic is important.
And yes, I’m aware of what’s been happening lately and I see the logic of it, even if it’s twisted logic. Not the space to discuss it however.
Was referring to what has been happening in-comic, didn’t know we weren’t allowed to discuss it…
I thought you were talking about real life stuff, my bad then.
What’s been happening lately in comic that I haven’t seen then?
Was just reminding you about how little has been involving logic, starting from the moment Breen and friends reached the surface

It’s a false choice. Something entirely ELSE is being chosen. The question is, who will realize this?

So, how does Bree know Jen?
