He won’t – he’s a tecnico (what in WWF would be a “face”). He won’t use illegal under-the-belt attacks. Of course, he CAN always argue that neither of them is wearing belts…
Uh – now that I think of it… Guesticules, I want your opinion here. Iit is actually possible that Wormius HAS decided on a finisher for the match. I mean, one of the best positions to rip it off (the scale, I mean) would be the position known in USA as “camel clutch” and in Mexico as “a caballo” (“horse riding”)… which happened to be Santo’s finisher https://prowrestling.fandom.com/wiki/Camel_clutch
So it would make sense both from a practical and from a narrative perspectives for Cherek to wind up on the receiving end of that move.
What do you think?
Would be a good position to pull it off (the move itself and the scale), and then we see Cherek shrivel up like Bane in that Batman movie
Could even start with Sark in the same position at risk of his mask being removed, but he pulls out a sneak move (yes, even Faces can get sneaky) and reverses it
of course, you know that trying to remove a mask is THE ultimate dick move for a luchador (so MUCH so, that it is grounds for INSTANT disqualification in lucha libre) – which means I agree is the kind of thing Cherek would try
Nah, not disqualification, it just means (unless your initials are RMJ) the end of your career
Or, at least, the end of that character and they have to retire the mask and get a new one
Not quite: losing your mask *on a wager’s game* (mascara vs mascara or mascara vs cabellera) means you can’t use it anymore, but fully removing YOU OPPONENT’S mask without having won the right to do so before means instant disqualification in CMLL rules – because it IS (as said) the ultimate dick move. Not that the Orcs are using CMLL rules, but Cherek IS a dick (and likely he’s pissd himself by Sark’s masked antics), so he trying the move (and Sark getting royally pissed at it) would actually be quite the plausible scenario…
Thank you, don’t know as much about luchre libre wrestling as would like (the only wrestling we get here is WWF, only see the others as snippets as youtube recommendations, and apart from ex-WWF stars, don’t know anything about them)
Sark’s shit-talk game is pretty good
This may be even more effective than accusing him of cheating before the fight.
Plus bonus points for it TOTALLY sounding like a tecnico talking to a rudo
Rip it off! And the scale too!!

He could also argue that it was flapping in his face too much… and he got hungry 😛
