Sidequest so Bree can prove to the elves she’s a worthy queen, I guess.
What I don’t understand is how Bree and Sephni can be queens at the same time, guess it’s something like blue and gold haired subtypes of elves, but then all the elves in this monastery (save Finch) are blond, so they should obey Sephni and not Bree.
I certainly need an Elven geography and lore lesson: most of this story has happened underground and we really know almost nothing about the elven realm(s), other than princess Sephni was kidnapped and offered to Daxxorel as sacrificial victim.
You guessed correctly, all the elves in monastery are blond- eh, High Elves, while Bree is queen of Wood Elves. They should obey Sephni, not Bree, however the elven kingdoms are supposed to be allies so without explicit orders they should help her, especially on diplomatic mission to their kingdom.
At least there’s a nice long bridge for some cool you-shall-not-pass scenes.
The plot thickens considerably. There’s no way garrison withdrawal was a coincidence; Kindall or whoever impersonates him likely did this to assist Cherek. It’s still unclear who’s behind this.
It could always be “please me as sex slave (pregnant with my child) or die like last girl and be supper, your choice”, last orc clan was like that. Or yes it could be another “sacrifice to demon god”.
So much for all the Orc tribes gathering at Blackfang to choose a new clan leader. I guess Stonebreaker wants to push what he perceives as an advantage with the Elven armies occupied or diverted.
I was initially thinking of having the leader of the war horde be something much bigger and dumber than Cherek here, but I scrapped that idea in favor of a slightly more interesting villain. Thus, I don’t think we’re going to see anyone wielding an elf-covered shield anytime soon.
It is time for Bree to say: “Once you go green…”. At least she still wears this orc collar. It also looks like only a few of the Red Fang members know about Sephni, but not all.

Wood Elves and High Elves are diffrent kingdoms, that’s why. 😉

OK, TY, to both.
Exactly! Thanks!

Well either Stonebreaker’s captive is either dead, about to loose their clothes or something else…
Note the blood under her? She ded (no, the blood isn’t hers, just she’s not the first, nor will be the last, to be ‘sacrificed’)

The last panel is pretty dark, kinda reminds me when my friend got me reading Elfquest.
I never did get to read the whole thing, though I do recall it got fairly grim in parts.

This Scrotum-ripper is another PC like Breen and that other orc, right?
Does this have anything to do with invotive 303?

Could still do that, doesn’t have to be the leader, it could even be someone from a rival horde
