I have the expectation there will be a price to pay. A path chosen at the expense of all others. A sorrow sweetened by its acceptance.
Or maybe that’s just me.
Harkening back to linguistic discussions, I have a question for Maju.
Our local insurance company sent a Happy Holiday (Felices Fiestas, etc) email in a number of languages, all of which I recognized except Zorionak. Turns out that’s Basque and is, as I understand it after looking it up, is a generalized congratulation on good fortune. So kind of like Mazel Tov?
When did Charlie give Paige that photo/frame?
When Paige visited Breeniffer’s apartment about six or seven pages ago.

B&W photo-magic? Hmmm… is that what is hidden in the so-called Grayzone?
Some people still take B&W photo’s, that you can actually touch!
But I would presume that not fantasy elves… so magic then.
There are no elves in that photo, nor was it taken in Delve-world
There are elves looking at that magic thingy in their world.
Photos are not magic, and while Paige might not know how they did it, she is still familiar with paintings and portraits
Sigh!
Tolkien’s law: any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinct from magic.
I feel like something really serious is about to happen.
Happy Christmas.!
You too! (Belated)
