Plot twist!
He rolled for himself. It was a save versus being dragged into Delve.
On unrelated note, I had to… deactivate my electronic clock long time ago precisely because it constantly shewed me random crap like this each time I woke up.
That because Brian rolled a natural one on his save. Not only he failed his only chance to not being dragged in the Delve – he did so spectacularly and with flair.
Because DM wants his creator to be inside the Delve?
Because DM wants to tight the leash on Brian but is unable to do so outside the Delve?
Because the Delve exists only insofar Brian plays the campaign, and dragging him inside the campaign will force Brian to play it forever?
…
Honestly, there are about two dozen reasons for DM to be happy about it – and that’s just on offhand guessing, without actually using brain. Granted, there are comparable amount of reasons for DM to be unhappy about it, or be happy about something entirely different – but that’s beside the point of why.
On another note, just FYI, you have a system glitch I think. The comment field autofill “Xycad” for name with a yahoo email address (not going to list it cuz it’s probably not supposed to be there). 🙂
Yeah, that’s a known problem, not sure if there is anything that can be done about it (blame the EU, they voted on something stupid that messed up a lot of internet stuff, namely to do with websites retaining your login details, something about ‘privacy’)
DM, you are definitely one of my favorite characters of this series.

An ace.
Along with power gamers and rules lawyers this has to be every GM nightmare.
Heh heh 8)
Crap! Doesn’t matter what he rolled for, a natural 1 is gonna be bad, for someone (just, don’t hurt Thes too badly, please?)
Can’t quite make out the time of the clock. Too sleepy.
Good eye! He’s still sleeping…

Nah, DM looks too happy for that

Why would DM look happy about that? o_O

“Well, it’s a start”
A start on snake-eyes. Let’s see what the next one rolls.
So, if the watch lets Bree know she isn’t in the real world… then the clock… hmm…

1… ouch, something bad gonna happen to him.

No initiative… Almost.
Something tells me (the die-roll specifically) that things are going to go south from here…
DIE, THING OF EVIL!
(How many sides does a “die thing of evil” have?)
[It’s hard to tell, things of evil change side frequently!]
