Just thought I’d let you all know what I’ve been up to instead of drawing a couple of drakon heads hitting the floor.
I’ve just finished up the cover art for Volume One of the Delve printed… uh… “Compendium?”… I don’t know what it would be called, but it it covers the first 72 episodes of the webcomic, and will be released as a full-color paperback with bonus art and behind the scenes trivia included.
I struggled for a bit on what to choose for cover art, but in the end, I think this image kinda distills the essence of what Delve is about.
I’m hoping to have the book live in time for Christmas, so wish me luck!
Cool ! I’ll definitely recommend it to my FLCS. 😀
Thanks!
I think it looks good to me.
Thank you!
Wow… Nice!
Thanks!
Thief with such impractical nails?
Oh, they’re practical alright. When your hands are tied with rope and you don’t have a knife, they work wonders. I’m more interested in how she got that pick between her teeth.
But they’re likely to break painfully when doing stuff. That’s why in ancient times long nails were a sign of the rich and idle, and never of working people, and that’s why is now fashionable (for some), because it is, like those useless highest heels (also original from the aristocracy): because it’s fashionable to be like the rich, it has always been, except in Mao’s China and Hoxa’s Albania (now long gone).
The question is: if you’re going to break your nails, maybe you should not delve underground in perilous caves, really. My two cents anyhow.
Nails are not sturdy enough for anything serious. They will break. Also, how she got that pick between her teeth: easy, she pushed it out with tongue.
Wishing you luck!
Thanks! I appreciate it!
Yes, “Volume” is exactly the right word for describing a medium with this kind of cover art. 🙂

I’m still waiting for episode #290. Meanwhile, there’s this bland image of Bree posted as the latest page. (Yawn)
Freaky. For a minute I got a page from “Bluehost” saying “there is no content here.”
Sigh… it’s a little buggy sometimes.
