i did read the original book (not the graphic novel) decades ago. Hazel is the team’s leader, the chief rabbit, and arguably heroic enough, but he was much smaller that that monster – that one would be bigger that Bigwig or even Woundwort. Fiver was his little brother, and the prophetic hero.
The graphic novel was actually more of an adaption of the movie
And thanking yous for reminding me, which one(s) were the bad bunnies?
Hazel being the smallest was kinda the point: you didn’t have to be the biggest to be a leader or a hero
…gee, if you don’t want to be the one to carry this bag because it’s too heavy, just say so! No need to look for a philosophical basis for an excuse.
Kids these day. “Ugh, why are those groceries so heavy. Are they cursed? Better dump ’em on the ground!”
She is the one who grabbed it first
Watership Down reference, fuck yeah!
Nice call.
Didn’t the bag already saved their lives?
They just got lucky… so far
Slowly delving into the metaphysical side of the Delve it seems…
Stuffing it with dandelion, and roasting it on a spit.
Ignore that. Replied to the wrong post…
Little bunny stew-stew, hopping through the forest 😛
There’s only one way to eat a [brace of] coney[s].

Wasn’t Hazel the hero (or one of them)? Or was that Fiver?
Haven’t watched the movie in years, and we got the graphic novel book in the ’70s
Hazel was a main hero, along with his prophetical little brother Fiver. They brought it out on DvD a few years ago.
