Greetings from the land of neverending flu. (The Neverending Flu-oooo!) Sorry I haven’t been too on the ball lately, but I hope you enjoy this week’s update.
Cause there’s a glitch with the rezz spell. Read back to when they arrived to “LEVEL 99!!” She should not have been rezzed at all but she was somehow entangled in Bree’s rezzing (complain to the devs, list as bug and wait for a year or two to be even processed). Now she’s a hot blue chick… with glasses (allegedly because she’s smarter than Bree – what we all doubt).
And also because why would Daxxorel want to eat a sword? Tender flesh is much better, right?
why would she get back to being a blade? She died, her soul got torn out of the blade, and then it was resurrected in a living body (templated off of bree)
She is stuck like that for good or until someone can magically transform her from an elf into a sword
Because when one has spent one’s entire life (if one can call it life) as a magical sword, being “reduced” to a living being that can’t even cut anything feels like a real step down. She needs time to adjust and come to appreciated the finer points of having a living body before she’ll realize that it’s actually a step up.
well according to the voting she won’t have long to enjoy her new body. By the way i think having a vote to see who gets killed off is just disgusting it reeks of you not having the story written out before hand and is just cheap.
I like the comic, but I agree that this voting is a bad idea. For several reasons, including the above mentioned cheapness, but it’s this even/odd garbage mostly–who lives and who dies will be decided by one lone guy pulling some last-second ebay-style sniping crap. And this is probably gonna kill off my preferred characters, and if so, I can tell you already I’m not likely to have any patience with the results.
The rules for voting are so fuzzy that anything can be interpreted in the outcome. So I don’t take the question in terms of deciding a character’s future seriously. I even forgot, who some of the characters were until the cast list was extended and would have voted differently had I known (the pickup group really deserves to die). I have the feeling though that the story in general is set and that voting influences nuances and emphasis. How can an author judge how well the side characters are received other than by voting? Do we follow Bree or Teal? Voting works as a show how involved readers are in the story, so why not vote unless you don’t care about the story?
Further, I actually have a new voting idea:
Complete Moonblade’s sentence: “Why am I still …”
Did she expect to go a cup size up? Turn male? Go wild!
hope your feeling better. i personally dont mind the delays. this is the best webcomic ever
Thank you! I’m feeling a lot better now.
Why is Moonblade still an elf and not a blade?

If you need a better reason than “because boobs”, you’re probably reading the wrong comic.

incidentally, somewhere out there is bree’s old dead body
Actually a statue now.
I thought the Moonblade wanted clothes.
Why going back to just being a Sword?

Clearly you don’t understand the twisted nature of DM’s. Vote all you like The DM is the prime mover and he will decide what he wants to do.
This looks like one of those moments where Bree thinks she is the one “Playing” them, and then ends up being “Played” 😀
Personally I love the expression on Bree’s companions in that last panel.
Thanks!
