Your first guess was children? My first guess was they were de-aged.
Children only looks like clones of parents in cheap TV shows. You know, like Back to the Future. Except, obviously, if they actually ARE clones like Jango Fett and Boba Fett.
A beautiful piece of art, really moving up a several gears. Breath-taking.
But….It seems Morgana has been deceitful yet again, as she was with Bree over the gift that wasn’t a gift, her promises to the blade girls. If she has reverted them to children, and possibility without their previous memories, she, in effect, limits their intention to explore the Delve world, or even search out Bree again.
As I’ve remarked elsewhere, this reminds me of the final book in Pierre Christin’s long-running “Valerian and Laureline” science fiction saga, where the two space-time agents are reverted to 13-year-olds in 2010s Paris. Our blade girls are simple children. Thanks, Goth bitch. Great for them, maybe. Not great for the Delve world or High Branch.
There’s a lot to parse in this image. Is the background real (looming dark castles and a cave awaiting?) or in their imaginations? Are they poor (Moonblade’s pants and torn and patched)? What world are they in? Definitely not the grey “real” world in which Bree and some of the other characters are playing something like D&D. Lots of promise….
This is wherever that Morgana psycho sent them to ‘have a life’ (as though what they had had didn’t count…)
She also de-aged them (hope she didn’t also mind-wipe them, specially seeing how the last thing she said to Breen was that they would find, and help, her again)
Absolutely adorable
D’aaaawwww, they look so happy!
Kinda looks more like the children of the Blade Girls… unless this is what that psycho elf did to them
As the others have (and will) say: a-d’awwwable 🙂
I would not put it past the psycho bitch to do something like that after Moonie told her off

Offspring, de-aged, still cute children (and Lass cheering on her hero-wife 🙂 )
Laughing, dramatic death looks good on Kel.
<3
It's lovely to see them so peaceful together ^^I'm sure that things won't stay that way forever, but a nice moment of good is pleasant.
Yeah, eventually they will tire of playing and realise there are some things they can’t do as children… like kick goddess butt! 😛
I’m gonna assume this is a timeskipped scene, or they were sent back into the past to reincarnate.
Aww that’s so adorable 😀
Did not expect this to be the way. But actually looks like they are going to get a chance to live their lives…
Personally think Morganna gets a worse wrap than she deserves, however sharp her demeanor maybe.
