It always depends what the alternative to “it” is, otherwise you can’t know if it’s worth “it”. And of course, how much pain are we talking about?
Chronic crippling pain isn’t (in my opinion) worth a career as a dancer, but obviously some people disagree. Chronic slight, easily ignorable pain is certainly worth avoiding death.
Hey, as long as they can still be killed by a dragon in the immediate future, might as well take the best opportunity you might get to wrap your mouth around an nice Elven boob.
Why do you think she went all-new-believer suddenly?
First of all – being eaten alive usually is very painful. You don’t need much knowledge in all things forbidden to understand it. Being magically recreated does nothing to pain already persisting in your brain. Unless the ‘usually’ part comes into play – some species use not just pain inhibitors, but downright pleasure drugs to immobilize the prey while eating. Others don’t bother – some eat only already dying and unable to fight back, some just paralyze prey or restrict prey’s mobility without numbing agents – and some just eat prey from the inside, so the one being eaten would not be able to remove the eater until it’s too late.
Secondly – it only plunges you into the depths of unbearable agony first few hundred times. After that, you adapt. Not that the agony goes away, or even is much less – but you already got used to it. After another few hundred of iterations you begin to find joy in the stability of cyclic agony. Pain becomes your most trusted friend, your most intimate lover. It knows you like no one ever will. It will never left you alone. And then you begin to smile: this is your home now, so why you should be sour about being at home, after all?
Now image a mindset of someone who not only feels joyful while being repeatedly eaten alive, but actively seeks to make others feel that same warm fuzzy feeling…
Enter Sephy.
Thought of the day: pray and prey are not so different, after all.
Noob question : on second and third panel , about Sep and tuul .
Sep used magical dodge thing with TUul before dragon blows fire on em ?
( where or when did she do that at first time ?)
The Collar helps her regenerate endlessly. she was burned alive, all the flesh on her was basically charred. same with Tuul. The Collar repaired all the damage to her and anyone in contact with her. She is accustomed to the pain while Tuul is not which is why she’s fine afterwards and Tuul is in agony over what just happened.
I’m not sure he’s in constant pain. I think it’s more along the lines of he felt the pain of being burned alive and then being rebuilt. You can see a little of that with Bree when Sephni heals her on this page: http://thisis.delvecomic.com/NewWP/comic/get-up/
I don’t think pissing off a gigantic dragon is the best way to protect your people there buddy… And the way you’ve behaved thus far, I have this funny feeling you probably deserved that. XD
We don’t know the history between Snark and Dragonetta: it’s possible that what Snark did to piss her off was in defense of his people, she may view it differently of course (like, he saved some of his people from becoming dragon-poop, and she didn’t like going hungry, possibly caused her eye injury at some point)
Or they both could be complete assholes just murdering everything/one they love and blaming each other for it. Who knows. We’ll find out soon enough! lol
Well if nipple nibbling comes with regeneration properties, that’s a cherry on top of the sundae!
But it hurts.
Still worth it.
chronic pain is never worth it.
Eh, I got used to mine.
My statement stands.

It’s all relative.

Oh, yikes, does this mean that Seph feels the pain of every time she was eaten and then revived? No wonder she’s acting strange.

That was damn near Poetry, Yotz
Could have been an orgasmic moan (yes, going with ‘orgasmic’)
On an unrelated note – I rather like depiction of elvish skull with pointy earlobes.
Quite.
Quite.
How to slay a dragon, according to Chasta.
Step 1: get eaten.

They didn’t dodge. Sephni is just really good at regeneration, thanks to the collar.
Ah ! ok nice :), heh

So now we know what bite me means. Painful!
Totally called it concerning how Tuul was going to survive 😀
When you’re right, you’re right! Good call!
Snap out of it Snark: breeding with anything that moved wasn’t really going to help in the long run anyway
It’ll never stop hurting, Tuul.
Oh had a question – Went to vote in the poll and it told me I already voted. I don’t see how that’s possible! 🙁
+1 on the already voted part…
Same here, for this poll, never even had the option to vote
Damn, sorry about that. I’ve updated the poll plugin now, hopefully it works now?
bree got revived without constant pain didnt she?

Also there’s the fact said dragon didn’t try to massacre Bree after nearly having her head chopped off… XD

Yes, we did, and it’s not looking good for fuck-toy
I’m honestly completely lost at this point who has what powers.
