Speaking of which, he’s asked me to step in as a full-time administrator to the site, given his current state of mental health, and, by that, I mean that I poked him a few times while he was lying in a ball on the floor, and he mumbled something that I’m pretty sure was his consent to take over the site… also something about power of attorney, and that I could have all of his old Magic cards.
Of course, I do appreciate the tragedy of all this, in that he had long ago sold his Beta Black Lotus to pay for his honeymoon, but I’m trying to look on the bright side of things.
In all, I’m feeling really positive about this! Now that I think about it, this site could really use a few of those animated GIF thingies to spice things up.

Nah. Revolvers are almost impossible to jam. If anything, the wax will help lubricate the bullet as it travels down the barrel. Migbt be a bit of a pain to clean afterwards though….
The wax will do nothing to clog that gun. You’d have to fill the barrel with wax to damage that revolver.
You could probably clean the barrel by firing a bullet through it anyway.
wax is far to soft. when you fire a gun the lead its compacted into the barrel which engages the rifling .
you can make wax shotgun shells . and yes it does actually clean the barrel
Wax bullets work great for training or pistol duels. Like paintball, but manlier.

Amazing webcomic… twice has gone 3 years between updates. Once 5 years. Currently it hasn’t updated since Trudy started doing Oglaf after saying she was finished with everything but inks on the next one.
Oh yeah, that one was in my bookmarks until about a year ago. Kudos for still waiting on it!

Phawkes choice of single malt is interesting – Loch Lomond – the favourite of Captain Haddock in Tintin … and more recently makers of questionable grain and organic whisky. Slainte!
P.S.: Looking at the label this could be an independent bottling – maybe even a Blackadder edition; those are pretty much cask strength (50+ %), uncoloured and non-chill-filtered, just strained through coarse sock with soot and bits of stuff floating in it.

I checked what he ordered to Ghaarna and it’s nothing of that, unless it’s the salmon chutney (I know what a salmon is but not what is a chutney). Most probably is his own undead blood extracted directly from his bleeding heart. It has the same bright cyan color and makes sense with what Teal said. We know by now that caring magic stuff is useful against demons so guess that’s it. Also hoodoo, caring magic… same thing more or less.

What you fight ghosts with mate: other ghosts. Shark Ghosts, for example. The concentrate a shark ghost into a bullet: that’s gonna do some damage.

The candle is where he’s getting the wax from. Matches likely came with the candles so he could light them. All the better Pocket Ds have complimentary matches. ^_^

Matter (or energy, to be more precise) is not created nor destroyed, just transformed.
Or in other words: there is a relationship between eaten food and body size. Exercise and genetics may interfere but the overall relationship stands. In the case of slimes things are pretty much straightforward and they don’t even need a mouth for that.
